Russian unified e-visa

Russia’s unified electronic visa is available to citizens of 64 states. The official list includes China, including Taiwan. Apply and check the current rules on the official Russian Foreign Ministry portal.

Key rules

• The application is processed within four calendar days, excluding the day it is submitted.
• Since 23 August 2025, an e-visa may be valid for up to 120 days and permit a stay of up to 30 days.
• No invitation, hotel booking confirmation or other confirmation of the purpose of travel is required.
• A separate application must be submitted for every child travelling with you.
• Entry and exit are permitted only through checkpoints approved for unified e-visas. Check your intended checkpoint on the official portal before booking travel.
